What shoes do I wear when taking lessons?
Ballroom dance shoes are best, however, are not needed to take lessons. Most dress shoes work for men and a comfortable sandal or closed toe shoe that stays on your foot works best for women. Try to avoid thick sole shoes and tennis shoes with rubber bottoms.
Do I need a partner?
No, group lessons are designed to rotate partners and it is proven that you learn 30% faster by changing partners. Our lessons are casual and it is always recommended that you practice with as many partners as possible to gain the maximum benefits.
How long will it take?
Each individual varies, but you will feel progress immediately. With practice, the average student can expect to master 1 dance within 10-20 hours of instruction
